Week 10:Slideshows

In week 10, We use a new tool this week, I really love to use this tool. Animoto interface is very simple, after log in can start to make the Slide Show, click on the production of the new video and photo. You can select phone or computer photos will be sorted according to time. Choose good photo then you can choose the style of the video,  click on one of can directly see the preview or you can select all the video you can browse to the use of all available video template. Style from the pure and fresh, art to realistic, basically users want to make most of the theme of the Slide Show can be found in conformity with the choice. After a short period of time after waiting to be able to generate video, you can share to Facebook to other friends to watch. Although the application itself is free, but Animoto offer paid within functions: if there's no relationship within the application to watch video, but want to save video to your phone and computer, and you need to pay. I think this is not very good. For often take pictures by mobile phone users, image classification is indispensable, memories of times as many pictures. they will make a Slide Show, when back to see more movies like flashbacks effect, person is the most important for their friends and family to do a review emotion, through the social platform to share a surprise for them. Animoto such products allow the user to save a lot of trouble and excellent design, simple operation mode allows users to easily make a high quality video, templates, filters. This is really convenient to people.



What did you learn/notice in your exploration of slideshow tools? How will these tools be useful in your educational activities?

Using multimedia slideshow tools courseware teaching can effectively stimulate students learning interest. In psychologically, motivation is caused by the psychological needs of people and psychological state, is a person to go to internal causes of action in order to achieve a certain purpose. By adopting the technology of multimedia slideshow tools, to see, hear, touch, want to wait for a variety of visual teaching, creating a certain life situation, stimulate students' thirst for knowledge and keen interest in learning, encourage students to actively participate in learning. Use of multimedia slideshow tools teaching can not only arouse the students' seeking knowledge desire strong, induce students learning motivation, active thinking, but also can cultivate students' innovation consciousness. Starting from the interest of students, the textbook knowledge into the students life, lets the student positive thinking to the problem and find the answer. When students are in trouble, slideshow tools process, it is a clear to show the students into trouble knowledge, maximize stimulate students' keen interest in learning, improve the learning efficiency.


Use of slideshow tools  teaching can effectively develop students abstract thinking ability.
Main characteristic is the students thinking, image thinking. Mainly from the specific image thinking step by step to make the transition to give priority to in order to abstract logical thinking. Using slideshow tools for classroom teaching, to the student logical thinking is of great help to form a correct concept of space. Develop a preliminary concept of space, in order to further lay a good foundation of autonomous learning. Practical teaching application, found that students in the class in the exchange of expression to the abstract knowledge understanding ability improve soon, the teaching effect is remarkable.
